Description We are in search of a dedicated Recruiting Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be instrumental in streamlining our recruitment process, from sourcing potential candidates to initiating background checks. This position is pivotal in ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in our industry.Responsibilities: Assist in the sourcing process by gathering resumes for review Conduct initial screening of candidates, including phone interviews Schedule interviews, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up with candidates Assist in the preparation and routing of offers for approval Initiate requests for background checks and drug screenings, ensuring administrative accuracy Review background checks, identifying any potential issues Submit tickets for HRIS data entry, IT equipment requests, and vehicle requests Primarily recruit for sales positions, but also IT jobs, quality roles, internships, etc. Conduct a significant number of phone screens/interviews with potential candidates Use various tools such as MS Office, ADP, and ATS to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recruiting Assistant or similar role. Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required. Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary. Familiarity with HRMS, Ceridian, and About Time software is essential. Experience in auditing and conducting background checks is needed. Must be competent in handling benefit functions. Excellent customer service skills are required. Experience in corporate recruiting is a must. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook, is necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
