Supervisor, Capital & Project CoordinationLocation:Wilmington, Massachusetts2406430The individual in this position acts as the initial point of contact for all capital requests & projects and the subject matter expert on the financial tracking of all capital projects, capital spending, and timely project completion. Works closely with the Manager to ensure procedural adherence & reporting accuracy while identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements. Individuals would also work closely with project management teams to ensure corporate compliance & provide field support to all locations & field installation teams. Continuously improve processes in an ongoing effort to manage capital spent & project completions. In addition, the person in this position will be involved in utility bills, and environmental & fleet billing management.Responsibilities:
The role involves managing and overseeing the daily activities of four direct reports, auditing processes, and organizing workflows. Responsibilities include conducting annual performance reviews, ensuring staff training on policies, and maintaining payroll and related records. The position also focuses on fostering a positive work environment, proactive reporting, and compliance improvement. Regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports are held to support growth, while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service improvements. Additionally, the role includes supporting the manager in the annual budget preparation and related tasks.
Works closely with project management teams to ensure compliance with project spend and tracking. Audits costs for procedural adherence and reporting accuracy for process improvement.
Team audits processes to ensure efficiency and timely completion of projects.
Team will audit and assist with utility bills, environmental & fleet billing management.
Manage capital and engineering project requests. Will develop and refine intake process.
QualificationsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance / Accounting / or related business field
1+ years’ supervisory experience is desirable.
Experience with ERP software, including Oracle PPM, is desirable.
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to manage internal and external relationships
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task
Experience in financial and business controls is preferred.
Self-starter, dependable, and able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
