We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Beertender. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist customers with the self-serve beer system by checking them in and making sure they have knowledge working the system, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere in the taproom.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide assistance with the self-serve beer system
Educate customers about the beers on tap, including styles, flavors, and brewery information
Monitor taproom activity to ensure responsible alcohol service
Maintain cleanliness of the taproom, including the self-serve beer area and seating areas
Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking beer inventory and cleaning glasses
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Previous experience in customer service, bartending, or hospitality preferred
Knowledge and passion for craft beer (NOT REQUIRED)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift 25lbs and stand for extended periods
