PIZZA COOK
Be part of our pizza slinging team at Ponysaurus Brewing Co.! Experienced pizza cooks are essential in our back of the house operation. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift 50lbs. + regularly throughout shift. Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including high heat environment. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all health code and sanitation requirements, Serve Safe certified preferred
- Ability to learn recipes, plating of dishes and consistently prepare high quality scratch food quickly and accurately despite volume.
- Set up/Break down station and work line per chef/sous chef instruction
- Experience shaping saucing and topping pizza.
- Ability to work electric deck pizza oven, understanding rotation of pizzas and monitoring for proper doneness.
- Rotation of pizza dough and communicating counts with chef/sous
- Have excellent knife skills and a working knowledge of how to use commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to, with consistent accuracy, prep pizza toppings per chef/sous chef instructions
- Clean station and stock at the end of each shift. Always leave your station each shift the way you would like it left for you.
- Contribute as a member of the kitchen team by listening, communicating, executing, caring, and being accountable.
