We closed our first project in Louisiana in early 2016. Since that time, we have closed 15 additional projects, all managed by our parent company, Criteria Development LLC, which principals have over 40 years of land development experience. The company is committed to growing its inventory in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, and Alabama. We pride ourselves on being a fully integrated development company, from planning, acquisition, and construction.
We need 2 Superintendents (Calabash and Leland). We own the land already, so stability is huge with us! Come join in on exciting time We are growing right now! We have openings in Civil Engineering, Design, Concrete and even a Surveyor! We have a back log of 10 years that we have decided to tackle. There is also room for growth Must be a Civil Person.

A civil superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a construction project, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget:
Planning and organizing: Working with the project manager and foreman to plan and organize activities
Scheduling: Creating a logical schedule and budgeting time to meet deadlines
Monitoring: Ensuring the project is completed on schedule and within budget
Negotiating: Negotiating changes to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors
Managing subcontractors: Ensuring subcontractors meet their contractual obligations
Safety: Ensuring the jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, and managing compliance with safety policies
Communication: Communicating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
Budgeting: Maintaining construction budgets and tracking project costs
Documentation: Writing daily logs and other necessary documentation
Quality control: Reviewing the quality of all factors involved with on-site production
Material delivery: Ensuring specified materials are delivered on-site to meet project needs
Superintendents should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They should also have knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) pertaining to construction safety
