We are seeking a part-time employee who lives in the Wilmington area to conduct nightly sign & lighting patrols. Employee will be responsible for driving specific routes, looking for commercial sign and lighting outages, and submitting photos and descriptions of the outages via our app, which you’ll load to your smartphone. The routes cover Wilmington and surrounding areas including Carolina Shores, Southport, Carolina Beach, Hampstead, Burgaw, Wallace, and Whiteville.
Requirements: Candidate must:
· Live in the area
· Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
. Pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Have a reliable vehicle
· Maintain valid auto insurance (insurance requirements)
· Have a reliable smartphone
· Be available to work after dark, 2 to 4 evenings per week
$17.00 per hour, plus $.67 per mile
Summer patrol schedule: 9pm to midnight
Fall, Winter, and Spring have earlier start to finish hours
