Our oceanfront family-run motel is looking for a housekeeper to join our team. Duties primarily include: cleaning rooms after guests check out, making sure daily laundry is washed/dried/folded, communicating closely with front desk staff to ensure all stayovers receive daily towel and trash exchange, and common area upkeep.
Cleaning and/or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person for the job.
Dependability and reliable transportation are a must.
Physical ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and laundry bags/baskets up and down stairs (no elevator), in hot summer temperatures, is a requirement for this job.
Shifts begin at 9am and usually wrap up around 2pm, but sometimes will go as late at 4pm depending on workload. Sundays are always busy and are required for this job. Schedule would be 4-5 days per week (20-30 hours per week) through the end of October.
And free parking (for 1 vehicle) and beach access for employees :)
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
