Our company is working on the repair, maintenance, and diagnostic of trucks and heavy equipment on-site.
This is a contract role located on-site in Wilmington, NC for a Service Technician at Bearded Bear LLC. The Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, machines, and systems in the manufacturing facility. The Service Technician will also perform inspections, diagnose issues, and recommend necessary repairs or replacements to keep equipment running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems and equipment maintenance
Technical degree or certification preferred but not required
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, and schematics
Effective communication and team collaboration skills
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Noise Level: Moderate, occasionally severe
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses;
On-site / in-shop work
