Appliance Installation Contractor owner-operator with box truck or cargo van
We are looking for a responsible owner operator contractor to transport, deliver, and install household appliances (mostly dishwashers) promptly to our customers.
Must have your own box truck or cargo van; and be insured and bonded. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRIVING HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK!
Responsibilities:
Appliance installation. This is a part-time position in the metropolitan Wilmington/Carolina Beach area, which entails working early morning and evening hours, averaging 2 to 5 days a week installing appliances in homes. During peak seasons, the position could be full-time. It ranges between 5 and 8 installations per day worked. You will make sure all tools, supplies, and components needed for the scope of work are on your truck or van. You can lift at least 60 pounds with ease and follow all safety guidelines. You will load and unload the truck efficiently without causing damage to property or merchandise. You will load, unload, move, unbox, and install appliances. You will show up to work on time, be clean, and professionally and courteously communicate with our staff and customers.
Skills:
Proven working experience as an appliance installer.
Valid professional driver’s license
Good driving record with no DUI's or DWI'S
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Follow routes and time schedules
Complete logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
The position includes loading and unloading, unboxing, furniture assembly, and appliance installation.
Must be able to pass background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $300 to $480 a day
