Commercial Construction | 3 Openings | 12-Week Project
We’re hiring Tank Builder II and Tank Builder III professionals for a new commercial construction project in North Myrtle Beach, SC. This is an outdoor jobsite with confined space conditions, offering strong weekly hours and daily per diem. Position Details
- Location: North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hours: 50+/week
- Pay Rate: $20–$26/hour
- Duration: 12 weeks
Per Diem:
- Local (within 60 miles): $40/day
- Traveling (outside 60 miles): $141/day
- Paid every day worked
Tank Builder II – Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Duties:
- Perform tasks including unloading materials, site prep, pipe placement, formwork installation, steel placement, concrete work,
finishing, scaffold setup, hose dragging, shotcrete work, dome forming, wire-winding, and painting
- Learn and apply skills for assigned tasks
- Abide by all safety rules on the jobsite
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year as Tank Builder I
- Pass Tank Builder II Field Advancement requirements
- Complete all required safety training
- Superintendent recommendation
- Ability to work as part of a team, reliable and attentive
- Ability to solve arithmetic problems quickly and accurately
- Ability to use heavy construction equipment (FEL, VMAP)
Tank Builder III – Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Duties:
Same as Tank Builder II, with advanced responsibilities for heavy equipment and leadership tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year as Tank Builder II OR 2 years with CROM
- Pass Tank Builder III Field Advancement requirements
- Complete all required safety training
- Superintendent recommendation
- Ability to work as part of a team, reliable and attentive
- Ability to solve arithmetic problems quickly and accurately
- Ability to use heavy construction equipment including concrete pump, FEL, skidder
Requirements:
- PPE: Type II Hardhat, Safety-Toed Boots, Z87.1 Safety Glasses, Gloves, Hi-Vis Shirt or Vest
- Preferred: Fall Protection Training, Confined Space Training, OSHA 10 (within last 3 years)
- No drug screen or background check required
