Looking for part-time non-emergency transport (NEMT) driver(s) for varying shifts to take clients to medical appointments. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities include transporting passengers to and from designated locations. Must be punctual. Must be able to drive a wheelchair accessible van, load, and secure clients properly. Must have a cell phone and be able to operate a GPS.
Working part-time schedule to start with advancement to full time possible. Perfect for a retired person such as a school bus driver, city bus driver, etc.
Must be dependable and have a flexible schedule with the ability to work Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday when needed.
Qualifications:
1. Valid NC Driver’s license
2. Valid Social Security Card
3. 10 Years driving experience with a clean driving record
4. English proficient
5. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check (NO FELONIES)
6. Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
7. Must have the willingness to show compassion and care to those we serve
