7 days on 7 days off 3rd shift.Position Summary:Coordinates and provides for the pharmaceutical care of patients through dispensing, distribution, and clinical pharmacy services. · Reviews, interprets, and verifies physician orders.
· Evaluate the appropriateness of drug selection.
· Evaluate for order completeness.
· Performs pharmacokinetic dosing
· Identifies, prevents, and resolves potential or actual drug-related problems.
· Review medication orders for the fulfillment of medication-related quality measures and antibiotic stewardship guidelines
· Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to manage drug therapy
· Provides patient, clinical staff, and physician education.
· Documents all clinical interventions.
· Technician supervision
· Verifies accuracy of technician medication-related filling tasks.
