We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.The Wholesale Loan Operations team has an exciting opportunity with the opening of a Loan Servicing Specialist 3 position on our Customer Care team in Winston-Salem, NC.Responsible for responding to written and phone inquiries from customers, title companies, and internal personnel regarding loans. Functions include: answering questions pertaining to all areas of loan servicing including payment research, taxes, insurance, loan modifications and assumptions, prepayments, payoffs, adjustable rate loans, credit reporting, and lien perfection; researching and analyzing problems and recommending solutions. This position is tied to a phone queue the majority of the day handling such inquiriesThis person will provide phone coverage from 8:30am am to 5:30pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm EST.Job posting may be removed earlier than stated close date due to volume of applicants.Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment
Desired Qualifications:
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Business banking experience
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Knowledge and understanding of loan administration or servicing commercial loan documentation
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Experience meeting high production and quality standards
