Production Supervisor

OverviewThe Production Supervisor at Cook Winston Salem is responsible to lead and assist personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging, and/or inspection of medical devices.Responsibilities Engage in Employee Relations Work with others – looking for ways to help them, positively communicate Cook standards for quality and integrity Ensure compliance to quality system policies and department procedures Communicate as needed quality department priorities and relay information to department personnel Focus on Quality and ensure a consistent message is being delivered, perform investigations and communicate quality or work flow issues to area manager and support groups Assume delegated management responsibilities in the absence of Manager Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance, Merit/Performance reviews, Quality, Workmanship and Disciplinary issues, and monthly efficiencies Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organizationQualifications Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges Basic computer entry/retrieval skills Good organizational skillsPhysical Requirements: Good manual dexterity.
