This position plays a key role in troubleshooting and changing out equipment. It requires knowledge Fluid Bed Dryers and the ability to train others within the facility. It also requires the flexibility to rotate into various positions when needed.Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures.HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
Ability to perform production jobs including, but not limited to Manufacturing, Change Over, etc
Ability to perform manufacturing job including Fluid Bed Dryer operation and change over.
Troubleshoot equipment as necessary to minimize machine downtime
Complete rapid change outs of equipment to minimize equipment downtown and ensure quality production in a fast-paced, growing environment
Serve as a subject matter expert on Fluid Bed Dryer operation, maintaining, troubleshooting and changing over.
Ensure equipment clearances with quality control before start of processing.
Follow all safety procedures at all times. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
Certify in and follow all GMPs and written SOPs
Clean and maintain equipment
Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations
Assist Sr. Mgr, Process and Packaging Equipment with planning each phase of new equipment
Communicate all procedures effectively and train others, as needed
Ability to train others on all jobs, equipment, products, etc.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:Skills:
Ability to operate production and sanitize equipment to Herbalife's specifications
Ability to instruct and train people
Good documentation principals, including legibility
Ability to communicate/interact with Supervision, OEM representatives, team member, and trainees
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Good mechanical and technical aptitude
Compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
Good math skills to compute yields, variances and troubleshoot
Ability to interface with machine, controls and computers
Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Requires 1 year of manufacturing experience externally or at least 6 months of Herbalife experience
Experience:
Working independently as well as in a team environment.
Setting up, operating, troubleshooting and changing over Fluid Bed Dryers
Loading and discharging products from Fluid Bed Dryer
Ability to perform visual quality control checks on product before, during and after processing
Working experience as a manufacturing, packaging, or changeover technician nutraceuticals
Detailed training on Fluid Bed Dryer from subject matter expert at Herbalife
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Associates degree a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or other regulatory experience
Experience using High Speed Mixers, Powder Blenders, Fluid Bed Dryers, Sifters, Scales, Liquid batching systems
Prefer 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 6 months at Herbalife
Food manufacturing or packaging experience a plus
Working on a manufacturing Strike Team
Working on a manufacturing Strike Team at Herbalife preferred
Detailed training and/or experience on Fluid Bed Dryer from a past employer or OEM
