I am seeking a dedicated, compassionate and willing to learn Veterinary Assistant to join my Mobile Veterinary Clinic. Experience is not necessary however the ability to learn and grow is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and compassion for animals. This role is crucial in supporting the veterinarian and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Duties
Assist the veterinarian during examinations, surgeries and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile veterinary clinic in between appointments.
Support pet owners with education on proper pet care practices and post-treatment instructions as directed by the veterinarian.
Deliver medications as needed during the week to clients in personal vehicle.
Requirements
Experience is not necessary but the ability to learn on the job is essential.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with pet owners compassionately.
Must have drivers license and a vehicle in order to deliver medications to clients.
