Job Description:
Oak Ridge Painting Co. is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of painting projects from start to finish. This includes everything from sending out work orders and scheduling to managing subcontractors and handling customer relations. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Order Management: Coordinate and send out work orders to painters and subcontractors, ensuring all necessary details and instructions are clear and accurate.
Scheduling & Launching Subcontractors: Effectively schedule and launch painting teams and subcontractors, ensuring timely project start and completion.
Material Purchase Planning: Collaborate with suppliers and ensure the timely purchase and delivery of materials for projects.
Customer & Painter Walkthroughs: Conduct final walkthroughs with customers and painters, ensuring the work meets Oak Ridge Painting Co.'s high-quality standards and client expectations.
Quality Control: Uphold and maintain the highest quality standards throughout the entire project, resolving any issues that arise in a timely manner.
Authorization for Payment: Ensure proper authorization and documentation is in place for releasing payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Hiring & Team Management: Assist in the hiring and training of painters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Must Have Own Transportation: Ability to travel between job sites in the Winston-Salem, NC - Greensboro, NC area with reliable transportation.
Must Be Able to Pass Drug Test and Background Check: Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the painting or construction industry.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to work with clients and subcontractors professionally and effectively.
A valid driver’s license.
