Position: Construction Worker
Location: Lexington, North Carolina
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Schedule: 8-10 hours per day, 5 days a week
Project Duration: 1-3 months with potential for permanent employment based on performance and project needs
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and reliable construction workers for an immediate start on a warehouse renovation project. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role that requires experience in construction, machinery operation, and general warehouse work. Responsibilities include:
Structural Work: Repairing and replacing roofing, restoring and reinforcing walls and floors, and identifying and fixing leaks
Painting & Finishing: Performing interior and exterior painting to enhance warehouse appearance
Material Handling: Carrying, loading, and unloading construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment
Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts, excavators, and other machinery as needed
Warehouse Relocation: Assisting in moving inventory, equipment, and materials from the old warehouse to the newly renovated location
General Labor: Cleaning up job sites, removing debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Requirements:
Proven experience in construction, warehouse work, and machinery operation
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials for extended periods
Proficiency in operating forklifts, excavators, and other warehouse equipment (certifications are a plus)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to perform both construction-related tasks and warehouse relocation work
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $20 per hour
