We are seeking one or two more skilled construction people - ideally with Electric, Plumbing and / or HVAC experience
We primarily renovate to decent standards inner city houses and apartments. We work with families that don't get assistance to live in nicer homes at reasonable rent - with a major focus on Veterans and people that are / or were homeless. Almost all of our work is in the City of Winston-Salem - Mostly on the North side so we don't do a lot of driving from site to site.
Most of our crew members are with us because they like what they do and feel they are helping others while earning a decent living. They have steady work and none of the hassles and roller coaster rides of being self-employed. Most of the people we employ went out on their own, then realized that with all the time of bidding jobs and seeking work, then trying to get paid for what they have done - at the end of the month they have more cash in their pocket by working with us, and a lot less stress.
We are people oriented, and we are much more understanding / accepting about having to take a day off for a sick kid, doctor's appointments, etc.
Our well-skilled people who work a full 40+ hour week take home - CASH in their pocket - between $500 and $900 a week depending on their skill level and performance and are paid twice a month. There is always at least 40 hours a week of work available. Several of our staff are (by their choice) putting in 45 to 50 hours a week. Some crews work 4 "10s" a week, some 5 or 6 shorter shifts.
Please give me a detailed rundown of what construction / renovation skills you have, and if there is anything you don’t know how to do. Please tell us your specific level of ability in Electric, plumbing, drywall installation and finishing, tile, flooring, HVAC, framing, foundation repair, roofing, etc.

Pay will be based on performance and skills, if you do good work - you will be rewarded for being fast, efficient and focused; and of course delivering good quality work in a reasonable amount of time.
