looking for another skilled maintenance / construction person for our crew. Our crew is still
working 35 to 45 hours a week.
If you have building and Maintenance skills - are not a flake and are realistic
about what people are paid, please read this posting.
If you are interested in a long term situation, this can be it- if you have good skills and
a strong work ethic.
Year round, throughout the winter, our crew has full time work.
We have several projects in the works and would like to find someone that is willing to work
hard for a solid future. This will involve rehabbing houses and apartments in and around the
Winston area.
No seasonal layoffs.
We are looking for a hardworking, hands on person that has their own tools and property maintenance
experience as well as experience in most aspects of renovating houses and construction. You must be
able to lift heavy materials such as pre hung doors, roofing etc. Not constantly, but able to carry
an 80 pound bag of concrete mix.
We are a small company that buys, renovates, rents and maintains apartments and houses for low income
people who don't receive subsidies. We currently have several projects underway and need to hire another
good productive worker (or two) that are focused and dedicated.
Most of our projects are in the city of Winston Salem, occasionally we do a project in an adjacent area.
The perfect candidate will be able to work with all aspects of construction including and not limited to:
electric experience - from replacing switches + light fixtures to upgrading circuit breaker panels and
complete house rewire, drywall and plaster repair, as well as new dry wall and taping experience - able
to do a whole house including ceilings, installing doors and windows, paint, roofing, flooring, etc.
Ideally they will also have extensive plumbing experience; and/ or HVAC experience.
We realize that nothing and no one are perfect, and will help train you in areas where you lack experience.
Pay will be based on performance, so as long as you do good work, you will be rewarded for being fast and focused.
Must be able to get along with and respect people of all races, religions, sexes, etc.
MUST have reliable transportation.
