Administrative Assistant - ReadiTech Engineering

ReadiTech Engineering, Bismarck, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a full time position.We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated team member for the position of Administrative/Technical Project Assistant. The Administrative/Technical Project Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and technical support to the engineering team including but not limited to project managers, right-of-way, and all other team members as needed. Additionally, the position is responsible for performing routine and complex administrative and technical duties.Essential Job Functions:

Assist project managers and others as needed with project related tasks

Assist with Right of Way tasks

Establish positive relationships with internal and external clients

Create, acquire, and file easements as required

Comply with local and state laws

Assist field staff as needed

Maintain confidentiality

Coordinate internal/external events

Process incoming/outgoing mail, UPS and FedEx

Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies

Arrange meetings, tasks, travel as needed

Utilize Microsoft Office software as well as other software and equipment

Utilize effective written and oral communication

- Have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment

- Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate motorized vehicles

- Regular, reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is required```{=html}```

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of administrative support techniques and procedures

Knowledge and understanding of aerial, underground, copper, fiber and substructure design

Knowledge and understanding of telephone industry standards, local telecom practices and procedures, local city, state, and government rules and regulations

Knowledge and experience in Telecommunications Outside Plant Construction projects

Knowledge and understanding to follow company established standard drafting procedures for file structure and standard drawing procedures for projects

Skill in Microsoft Office software as well as other software and equipment to prepare and revise technical drawings using company established standard procedures

Skill in oral and written communication

Skill to use tact, discretion, and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive situations and concerned property owners

Skill to process technical data and legal requirements regarding right-of-way issues

Ability to exercise independent thinking, creativity, and initiative

Ability to work independently

Ability to work well under pressure

Demonstrate ability to communicate well with a positive and friendly manner both orally and in writing

Demonstrate the ability to accept responsibility for and work under occasional stressful situations with frequent interruptions

Demonstrate desire to learn new skills as technologies change

Demonstrate the ability to multitask

Education and Experience:

Associates degree in a related field, Associates degree in related field and/or two (2) years of applicable work experience

Office suite software (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate motorized vehicles

Notary Public license preferred
