Job Description:
The STATE, Information Technology Department, is looking to contract with a vendor to provide trained, established, experienced IT Professionals, with current and progressive work experience in the following job roles and roles /responsibilities to assist in meeting the increased demand and workload in J2EE within the Highway Patrol Department.

• Project 2: Commercial Trucking - J2EE Resources - 2

Current and progressive work experience in the following technology is required:
The following skills sets are required:

• Primary Skills Set:
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of current and progressive experience in this role.
  • Knowledge and experience designing/developing web applications using Object Oriented and J2EE concepts.
  • Proven design, development and testing skills and experience
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to refine computer software to produce the required product.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with written and verbal English language proficiency
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to coordinate closely with IT management, team members and Agency personnel
  • Scrum working experience
• Primary technical skill sets, and experience include:
  • Web application development using Java, Spring MVC, JSP, EJB, JDBC, JavaScript
  • Understanding of multiple Frameworks
  • LDAP
  • Structured Query Language (SQL), PLSQL
  • Good working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MS-SQL Server
• Toolsets include:
  • Eclipse
  • Git
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • RAD/Websphere Application Server
• In addition, preference may be given to individuals with experience related to Highway Patrol business areas:
  • Commercial Trucking (Project 2)
