CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies andstandards of care set by state board of rules, and regulations; calling for assistance fromhealth care support personnel.Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols,medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicatinginformation; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competenciesfor age specific, as appropriate.QualificationsEducation: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.Graduate Nurse (G.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while thework authorization to practice is valid.Experience: No previous experience required.Skills: Working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care.Basic Life Support Certification within 480hours of employment and meets recertification asrequired.Interpersonal Skills: Good Communication skills necessary because of constant communication,both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors and medical center staff.Accountable for own conduct and promotes and supports positive working relationships amongstaff, between other disciplines, departments, visitors and patients.Pay Range$28.7515- $41.2458/ hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
