Responsible for providing special education programming to elementary students; preparing materials and classrooms for class activities; setting clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects; effectively communicating these objectives to students; collaborating with parents and guardians, fellow teachers, counselors, and administrators to address students’ behavioral and academic concerns; and performing related teaching duties as necessary.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education (foreign credential equivalency accepted) and valid North Dakota Educator’s Professional License.
