DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing Corporate Projects in alignment with the overall business strategy provided by Executive Management. This project manager will focus on integrated construction management software, InEight. This position is eligible for remote work.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Manage Corporate Services Projects by applying knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to meet project requirements and ensure effective implementation
Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving process and system efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing Lean Process Improvement techniques
Assist in identifying project prioritization, requirements, sponsor, stakeholders, deliverables, risk and budget
Develop project scope, plan, and schedule for each phase of the project
Monitor and analyze projects, ensuring that problems are identified and solved as rapidly and efficiently as possible while ensuring continuous improvement
Balance competing project constraints and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to deliver a successful project
Coordinate project communication and conduct or coordinate training plans to maximize effectiveness of project roll out
Respond timely and professionally to project stakeholder support requests
Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with standard procedure and best practices
Assist in performing lessons learned on all Corporate Projects
Successfully communicate project status to the VP of Information Services
Assist in implementing Corporate best practice processes, controls, systems and reporting
Travel to project site locations as needed to ensure project success
Other duties as assigned by VP of Information Services
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Business or another related field
5-8 years of relevant work experience with 3-5 years of managing projects is required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience vetting/purchasing 3rd party technology solutions preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek’s Zero Injury principles
Possess strong technical aptitude & proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Azure DevOps & Agile/Scrum Methodology
Experience using InEight software
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, make decisions and solve problems while under pressure
Possess and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate will all levels of the organization
Strong leadership, development, coaching and mentoring skills
Read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations
Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities
