The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services necessary for the company's operations. -[Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure the best prices and quality
-Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms for the organization
-Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of products
-Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
-Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of products/materials delivered
-Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of product remains positive
-Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting, Warehouse and Sales teams
-Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and team members
-Verify order timeliness with suppliers
-Use historical data to predict part buying requirements
