Great direct hire opportunity at an employee owned company in Alexandria! Pro Staff is recruiting a Maintenance Mechanic, with the following core responsibilities:
-Building and equipment maintenance, with regular testing and inspection
-Installation, repair and maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment such as HVAC, compressed air systems, machine tools and plumbing
-Inventory and replenishment of equipment and parts
-Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
-Assist in renovation, housekeeping or other maintenance as needed
Qualified candidates have a background in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. 2+ years’ experience, and the ability to work independently are needed. Must be adept at prioritizing work.
Core hours are 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. Must be able to work a flexible schedule when necessary. Pay is $18-24/hr, depending on experience.
