Springs Fabrication is currently hiring expert pipe and pressure vessel Welder/Fabricators for our diverse job shop! We offer competitive pay and benefits!
Required Competencies:
Experience with structural welding and fabrication
Experience with pipe and/or pressure vessel experience
Prior certification in 6G pipe GMAW/FCAW
Experience welding on carbon steel, stainless steel and various alloys.
Oxy-fuel and plasma cutting experience
Capable of fitting weldments from shop drawings/blueprints.
Ability to understand and satisfy ASME and AWS fabrication and welding standards.
Ability to read and follow AWS standard welding symbols
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Competencies:
Experience demonstrating X-Ray quality welds and capable of fitting up complex weldments with consideration for tolerance, shrinkage, and heat induced warpage
Experience with RT and/or UT
Robotic welding experience
All candidates will be required to take our written Shop Math and Weld Symbols assessments, and a 6G GMAW/FCAW pipe test
Are you ready for a challenge? Job shops do not produce widgets, we build code welding projects which include ASME Section VIII Pressure Vessels, ASME B31.3 and B31.1 Pipe, API Pipe and API 650 Tanks. We also have projects built to AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, AWS D1.2, and various other welding codes.
