Assistant Manager / Contractor Salesperson
Crane Johnson Lumber Co. is seeking one Assistant Manager / Contractor Salesperson in Pelican Rapids, MN. Crane Johnson Lumber was established in 1883 and has 4 locations supplying lumber and other building materials in ND and MN. We are seeking a professional, motivated individual with sales skills in the residential and commercial building industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position would require material knowledge in siding, windows, roofing, and framing materials, and the ability to estimate these products from provided blueprints. If you like working with contractors in our community and surrounding areas and have the skills and knowledge to provide them with the highest level of service, you may be the person we should add to our team.
RESPONSIBLITIES
The primary responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Building strong relationships with customers and potential customers
- Estimating building materials from a blueprint
- Drafting
- Purchasing inventory
- Typing loading orders and purchase orders in the computer system
- Servicing walk-in customers at the front counter
Typical work hours are Monday â Friday 7:30AM to 5:00PM and some Saturdays 8:00AM to Noon.
PAY + BENEFITS
This position is paid hourly plus commission. Crane Johnson Lumber also offers a competitive benefit package including health insurance, vacation time, paid holidays, 401k, profit sharing, cell phone reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement.
