Opp Construction is a leader in the Landscaping & Construction Industry and has been in business for over 40 years in the Red River Valley. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship & successfully serving our customers. Landscape Design & Sales Team Member will be expected to meet with customers & bring a flow of profitable design/build business to Opp Construction. They will design & estimate landscaping plans including architectural concrete, paver patios, outdoor kitchens, lighting, irrigation & horticulture based on customer desires & expectations. They will also be expected to communicate with & monitor Opp Construction & Sub Contractor Crews to install the projects to those specifications.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Meet with potential or current customers & provide landscape designs & estimates
- Respond to all inquires & requests for bid in a timely manner
- Build strong customer relationships & maintain those relationships
- Prepare & present design proposals in a complete & professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service through all phases of project
- Maintain accurate records and tracking of all proposals & jobs
- Complete billing of project in a timely fashion & complete final walkthroughs with customer & superintendent
- Document all change orders & provide accurate information for correct billing
- Coordinate jobs with landscape superintendent, foreman, other divisions & subcontractors as needed
- Attend trade shows & seminars for increased business knowledge & customer recruitment
- Attain certifications by trade organizations that govern work scope
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture or a minimum of 5 years with Landscape Design/Sales Experience
- Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, CAD Design/Land Designer Pro Software & Sketch-Up)
- Extremally detail oriented
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
