Description:Assemble electrical units and all sub-assemblies used primarily for the avionics and military industries
Sample assemblies will be circuit card readers, wire harnesses, electro-mechanical boxes and connectors, and smaller electrical wiring assemblies
Use a variety of hand tools including
crimpers
cutters
small screwdrivers
soldering equipment
Must be able to read a blueprint and schematic drawing for wire routing and tracing
Starting out the assemblers do a lot of wire harness building to get the hang of the process and products that they do there.
Must be able to read a tape measure in metric and standard
