We’re seeking Intermediate Marketing Specialist with strong writing/editing, organizational, and time-management skills to join our team. CDM Smith provides lasting and integrated solutions in water, environment, transportation, energy and facilities to the U.S. government nationwide and overseas. As a full-service consulting, engineering, construction, and operations firm, we deliver exceptional client service, quality results and enduring value across the entire project lifecycle.We are open to filling this position in any of our offices across the United StatesAs a member of the CDM Smith team, you would participate in business development efforts encompassing multimillion-dollar U.S. government opportunities across the nation and overseas. Responsibilities include:Conducting research on federal contracts, competitors, and potential team partners.Analyzing FedBizOpps synopses, requests for proposals, and other solicitation documents.Developing, writing, editing, and producing complex proposals, presentations, and related marketing materials.Applying a theme-based approach to development proposals and presentations.Coordinating proposal teams that include management, technical, financial, graphic design, and production staff.Managing databases of information used in proposals and marketing materials.Traveling occasionally to locations nationwide for meetings and proposal efforts.Job Title:Intermediate Marketing and Proposal SpecialistGroup:OPS - Marketing/Bus DevelpmtCDM Smith Employment Type:RegularMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.3 years of related experience.Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.Preferred Qualifications:Previous proposal development experience.Strong experience with MS Word & PowerPoint, including use of styles and templates.Knowledge of Adobe InDesign.Experience in editing/prooing narrative written by other professionals.Demonstrated talent for managing multiple, simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines.Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members nationwide and overseas.EEO Statement:We attract the best people in the industry, supporting their efforts to learn and grow.
