You will get to work with a variety of engineers from across the world to bring to life a cargo system.Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session that will run May - December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). This role is onsite, in Jamestown, North Dakota.What You Will Do:

You will complete mechanical drawing design changes as required to facilitate manufacturing needs and will also generate and edit 3D CAD models and also generate technical presentations for internal and external customers.

You will work with engineers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders on existing and potential engineering projects or products.

You will research, develop, design and test mechanical components, equipment and systems.

You will ensure products are designed according to specifications using the most cost effective and efficient means.

Work cross functionally with Customer Teams, Mechanical Designers, Test Engineers & Technicians, Supply Chain, Production & Quality, Field Service Engineers, FAA and Airline Customers and OEMs.

You will learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering for aviation programs.

You will learn mechanical design and configuration processes.

You will learn methods for team collaboration in a diverse worldwide development environment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Prior Engineering co-op or internship experience.

Experience with mechanical hardware and/or lab experience.

That you have completed 2 years of coursework within a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering major.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
