We are looking for a qualified driver to join our team in the Minot, ND area. 5/2 - 5/3 schedule, back to Minot every night. Compensation begins at 26% of the line haul rate. Position Requirements:

(1) Familiar with and comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as prescribed by U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration Parts 383, 387, 390-399, Subchapter B, Chapter 3, Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Acknowledge receipt of the FMC Safety Regulations Pocketbook (ORS-7A).

(2) Familiar with and comply with the hazardous material regulations which detail driver responsibilities and duties in the transportation of hazardous materials as prescribed by the U.S. Department of Transportation in Title 49 CFR Chapter 1, Subchapter B, Parts 171-179 and 380-397. Acknowledge receipt of the Drivers Pocket Guide to Hazardous Materials (ORS-2).

(3) Familiar with and comply with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Emergency Response Guidebook. Copy maintained in cab.

(4) Familiar with and comply with US Shale Management Company's employee, operating, safety and environmental procedures and standards.

(5) Familiar with and support the Company's Quality Program designed to encourage employee involvement to ensure quality of service to meet or exceed customer expectations while earning community respect.

(6) Have 2 years or 100,000 miles of Class A CDL driving experience. Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Required. Driving record must meet insurance requirements.

Position Activities:

(1) Perform vehicle inspections that require walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and climbing as necessary.

(2) Access the cab and operate the truck.

(3) Load and unload the product by lining up hoses and connections according to customer requirements. Hoses may exceed twenty feet (20') in length, up to three inches (3") in diameter and weigh as much as 50-100 pounds per twenty-foot section.

(4) Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of responsibilities, duties and activities.

(5) Maintain proper placards in compliance with shipping papers.

(6) Open, close and secure all outlets.

(7) Operate manual and hydraulic valves, pumps and compressors.

(8) Operate vehicle controls and emergency equipment.

(9) Connect and disconnect a trailer, adjust dollies as needed.

(10) Connect and disconnect trailer airlines and electrical connections.

(11) Operate in extreme weather conditions, in and out of tractor cab.

(12) Measure crude oil in accordance with US Shale measurement policies.

(13) Prepare paperwork requirements accurately, completely and timely.

(14) Perform field measurements duties: tank level measurements by gauge line, S&W determination by sampling, sample analysis, and custody transfer documentation (ticketing).
