AECOM is seeking an experienced Architect for our North Charleston, SC office to support advanced manufacturing and federal project types. This role provides architectural guidance, design development, and production support across a range of project delivery methods, working closely with senior staff and project teams from concept through construction administration.

With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.Our Carolinas B+P teams focus on providing design services in the Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics market, including logistics centers and industrial facilities, while also supporting a wide range of project types across the federal and private sectors.ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for initiating and developing design and construction document drawings through completion for assigned projects, in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline leaders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Providing architectural guidance, calculations, specifications, analysis, studies, and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned projectMay manage various size groups of architects, designers, and/or specialistsMay work on modest size projects and/or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher gradesDesign and production work, including architectural detailing through construction documents, using RevitPerform construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittalsPerform field verification and travel to project sites as needed (less than 10%)Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflowsPerform QA/QC reviews when assignedIndependently determine and develop approach to solutions under general directionCoordinate design activities with other engineering disciplinesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor
