DescriptionManage all aspects of material flow at the local Marvin facilities to maintain control and accuracy of storage and distribution of raw materials and finished goods to meet company objectives and customer requirements. Responsible for directing and administering inventory control, receiving, and other departments related to the supply chain. Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.Highlights of your role
Provide direction to those who supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and shipping.
Coordinate labor between all local Marvin plants on evenings.
Develop and manage the implementation of policies, procedures, methods, and systems for improving operational efficiency and controlling inventory.
Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing inventory control systems capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
Participates as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.
Work closely with purchasing team and production leadership to achieve customer satisfaction
Lead development and performance of the receiving and inventory control teams
Ensure effective, safe operations by enforcing procedures and policies.
You're a good fit if you have
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience is required
Supervisory experience required
