Purchase, manage and maintain inventory control for tools, parts, and supplies.
Coordinate the pickup and delivery of parts to customers, suppliers, and field locations.
Assist in tooling up trucks, inventory management and organizing tool storage.
Ensure all vehicles and trailers are equipped with required tools and equipment.
Perform equipment inspections, including trailers lights, brake function, tire pressure, and ensuring inspection documents are up to date.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop inventory, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and PPE.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, Customer and company HSE regulations.
Perform basic field safety audits and maintain audit history.
Supervise specific tasks such as line crossings and equipment maintenance.
Maintain clear communication with division leaders, foreman, and shop staff.
Report inventory and stock level issues and assist in resolving them.
Collect and organize Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) by division.
Willingness to cross-train and assist other divisions as needed.
Participate in winter preparation activities such as stocking and distribution of FR clothing.
