We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Breakfast Cook to join our team at a bustling and fast-paced breakfast restaurant.
As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional dining experiences by preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes in a timely manner. Your primary responsibility will be to manage breakfast tickets / orders during peak hours, maintain high food quality standards, and collaborate closely with a neurodiverse team. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in close proximity with diverse individuals is essential.
We are a humble bunch here & those who also knock out a few racks of dishes each shift - well, it's just part of the job.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes: Utilize your culinary expertise to prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, and breakfast sandwiches, according to established recipes and quality standards. Ensure all food items are cooked to perfection, maintaining consistency and presentation.
Manage high-volume orders: Work efficiently and effectively during peak breakfast hours to handle a high volume of orders. Prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders simultaneously to ensure prompt service and minimize waiting times for our guests. Adapt quickly to changing demands and adjust cooking techniques accordingly (allergies, religious or dietary needs, etc.).
MUST be willing to run food during peak rushes - it's only about 14 steps to the furthest table & makes the guest feel like a million bucks when a cook brings something to their table.
Must have Saturday & Sunday availability.
