Job Description
Perform installation of new tarp systems on to trailers, dump trucks, etc. for the transportation industry
Job Responsibilities :
⢠Operate scissor lift
⢠Operate various hand tools â electrical and pneumatic
⢠Pull parts from inventory
⢠Read and interpret process documentation such as drawings and diagrams
⢠Measure and calculate for material usage
⢠Disassemble and repair damaged tarps
⢠Install new and/or repaired tarps and associated systems
⢠Work safely â Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
⢠Complete paperwork such as work orders, forms and checklists as needed
⢠Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications :
⢠MUST BE ABLE TO READ TAPE MEASURE
⢠MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN
⢠High school diploma or G.E.D.
⢠0 â 2 years experience in a factory or shop environment
⢠Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
⢠Excellent hand eye coordination
⢠Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage
⢠Good written and verbal communication skills
⢠Ability to work with others in a team oriented environment
⢠General mechanical aptitude
⢠Able to lift up to 50 lbs
⢠Able to work on hands and knees
⢠Able to work overtime as needed
