We are an Akron tire recycling company seeking a full-time mechanic to help maintain our fleet and semi-trailers. You should be competent at remove the wheels off the vehicle, tires off the rim, use torches and welder, strong general mechanical aptitude. We want you to know how to trouble shoot, look at a problem and have solutions to repair it on your own.
We are willing to train the right individual who has related mechanical experience. You must have a good attitude and willing to hustle on the job. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

Job Requirements including but not limited to:
Climbing in and out of trailers
Removing Tires, wheels and performing brake jobs
Working on Trailer Floors, Doors/Panels, Rails and Suspensions
Use of tools includes riveting, drilling and grinding, cutting, welding, etc.
Comfortable working in/out doors year around and function will in physically demanding environment
Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies
Conducts basic maintenance and cleaning of work areas, equipment and storage areas
Cooperates and follows directions of the supervisors, cooperating with team as needed
Attends meetings and have the ability to communicate with co-workers and customers
Accept and follow our safety procedures
Have your own transportation and will be on time
