I am in need a a maintenance and person. The hourly pay is $15 an hour and this will be a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8hrs a day. Will also be on call weekends if an emergency arises. Knowledge of remodeling homes is also required to fill this position. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, such as painting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and other general maintenance needs. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and have good interpersonal and communication skills. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities
● Perform residential multi-family property maintenance (replace light bulbs, switches, check circuit breaker panels etc.)
● Perform basic maintenance of plumbing systems (replace and repair valves, toilets, faucets, drains and other basic plumbing systems)
● Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
● Perform repairs to multi-family residential properties when neded (fix locks, replace windows
etc.)
● Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
● Knowledge of remodeling homes
● Able to commute to and from work in Youngstown and surrounding areas
Skills
● Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and other systems
● Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
● Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
● General knowledge of how to remodel homes
