Residential Roofing Foreman - The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all types of residential roofing systems and the ability to manage job sites, and crews, to ensure quality and safety standards are met. We’re seeking a leader who takes pride in their work and can represent Tarheel Construction professionally on every job.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead roofing crews on-site to complete projects efficiently and to high-quality standards
· Installation of various roofing systems (shingle, metal, etc.)
· Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and job sites are OSHA compliant
· Coordinate with project managers to maintain workflow
· Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed job documentation
· Identify and solve on-site issues to minimize downtime and delays
· Train and mentor crew members to build skills and improve job performance
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum 5 years of roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/foreman role
· Strong knowledge of various roofing systems and materials
· Excellent communication and crew management skill.
· Valid driver’s license (company vehicle will be provided)
Laborers - no experience necessary for laborers, will train. Starting Pay based on experience.
Experienced Roof Techs- experience in residential roofing. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities for Laborers and Roof Techs:
Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems using hand and power tools.
Perform heavy lifting and carry materials to job sites as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
Summary
As a Roofer/Laborer, you will be an essential part of our construction team, contributing to various roofing projects while working under the supervision of experienced professionals. This role requires core skills in hand tools, power tools, and general construction practices. While no prior experience is necessary, a valid driver's license is required.
