MRF Machine and Hydraulics, a national hydraulic cylinder supplier, is seeking an assembly person at our Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing facility in Kent, OH. This person will be responsible for taking finish machined parts and preparing them for final assembly using hand grinders and manual equipment including drilling and tapping, deburring, grinding, cleaning and assemble parts into finished products.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Operating secondary machinery for processes like grinding, engine lathe, Bridgeport. Performing quality checks using appropriate gages as necessary and recording inspections per ISO 9001:2008. Maintaining productivity standards and perform changeover of assembly fixtures while exhibiting cooperation and communication skills, perform inspections, and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Preferred Candidates Qualifications:
This is a CNC production and assembly environment, experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Have the ability to read blueprints High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic Computer Skills Ability to identify and solve problems Mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble component parts Effective communication skills Self Motivation Ability to work in a team Reliability and punctuality Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs at times.
