A large manufacturing company has an immediate opportunity available for a Quality Control - CMM Technician. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
⢠Assist in the development of in-process and new part drawings and tool designs using GD&T rules and principles
⢠Develop, write, and validate new and existing part numbers using MODUS
⢠Support inspector in maintaining MRA/MRB holding area, all data, and incoming inspection activities
⢠Participate in Process Control including SPC implementation, training, and data analysis
⢠Lead internal ISO 9001:2015 audit program and support surveillance and re-certification audits
⢠Support purchasing and engineering with auditing new suppliers
⢠Provide customer service with all customer complaints or concerns
⢠Interpret specification and standards
⢠Train company personnel and assure customer requirements are followed
⢠Maintain and keep all records updated
⢠Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
⢠Must have CNC machining and manufacturing process experience
⢠Must have knowledge of AutoCAD and 3-D modeling
⢠Must have expertise experience of highly complex cast, machined, stamped, and welded components
⢠Must have knowledge of latest inspection techniques, processes, equipment, CD&T and its application, and gauging requirements
⢠Must have strong computer skills including ERP Systems
⢠Must be able to learn, prepare, and present FAIR/ISIR/PAPP packages
⢠Must be a quick learner, be able to follow all safety policies and procedures, and assure customer requirements are met
