A manufacturing company has an opening for a Quality Technician to work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, you must be flexible to work 12 hours shifts when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Validate activities, improve sources, and implement projects
Perform quality measurement and inspection of products
Collect and record QA data into computer program and generate reports
Manage equipment, process, and procedure changes
Evaluate systems and processes and investigate production issues
Ensure appropriate and mandatory testing is carried out on all products
Review product non-conformances for hold material and determine the cause or elements which lead to the product failure
Inspect incoming raw materials and review documents for accuracy
Coordinate and maintain raw materials SDS books
Perform other duties as required
Job Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
A minimum 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Forklift license and certification is preferred
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem solving skills is needed, as well, as the initiative to identify and resolve problems
Must be highly detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and customer service skills
