WHAT DOES A PARTS ASSOCIATE DO?

Assists customers in selection and purchase of required parts and/or services in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

Provides excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging all customers in a timely manner and ensuring that their concerns are addressed and parts are ordered.

Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly

Works collaboratively with Parts Manager in setting up merchandising displays.

Maintains the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and enhance the customers overall experience.

Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction. Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.

Follows established cash, credit, and check processing procedures .

Processes warranties, and merchandise returns as required.

Attends training as requested by management to increase product knowledge and maintain job proficiency.

Utilizes dealership equipment and resources in a safe and proficient manner.

Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Ordering, invoicing and receiving parts.

Assisting Service Technicians with parts.

Participates in an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a physical inventory, cycle count, and proper counter procedures to ensure product availability when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience with RV Parts preferred but not required .

Effective interpersonal skills to establish and maintain constructive and professional customer relationships.

Ability to effectively listen to customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their individual needs.

Excellent organization, time management and follow up skills are required .

Willingness to follow department procedures and policies and work in a team focused environment .

Basic computer skills and the willingness to learn dealership software programs.

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools

Lift, move, push and pull 80lbs. or more as needed with assistive device
