Job Title: Head of Sales
Job Summary:
Do you have the charm of a seasoned negotiator and the leadership skills of a battle-tested general? We're on the hunt for a Head of Sales to lead our team to victory in the sales arena. This role involves crafting ingenious sales strategies, setting ambitious targets, and guiding our team like a maestro conducting a symphony of revenue. You'll be the linchpin connecting marketing, product development, and customer service, ensuring we hit all the right notes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets.
- Build and develop a high-performing team that can sell ice to penguins.
2. Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement cunning sales plans and strategies (cue evil genius laugh).
- Set targets and establish best practices, ensuring our sales processes run smoother than a well-oiled machine.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to align sales with our grand master plan (aka business objectives).
- Cultivate relationships with key clients and partners, negotiating contracts and agreements like a pro.
4. Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities (spy glasses optional).
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities—think of it as treasure hunting but with more spreadsheets.
5. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators (and resist the urge to throw confetti at every success).
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management without making them fall asleep.
What’s Expected:
- Ability to juggle multiple teams and tasks, including some after-hours work to accommodate our international comrades.
- No prior experience necessary (we're all about potential, not just the resume).

- Capability to build and lead a team that would follow you into battle (or at least into a challenging sales pitch).
- Ability to work remotely (pajamas are acceptable, just keep it classy for video calls).
Compensation:
- Commission-only starting at 10% per sale and 5% for each team member's sales (monthly residual).
- Transition to commission plus salary after 10 sales (because we believe in rewarding success).
