JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction of a defined group of customers within an assigned sales territory. The position is responsible for the fulfillment of the following functions: Coverage of the specified customers in a manner defined by the company (CHS)
Maintenance of all required records regarding the customers in the sales territory (Sales Link)
Development of sales forecasts and business plans for each assigned customer
Compliance in a timely manner with all company required information
Develop and create, in conjunction with management, all sales documents and sales aides required to achieve company objectives.
COMPETENCIES LIST AND DESCRIBE:
The individual in this position must be personable, highly motivated, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to all of the forces around them - customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers and manufacturers employees. It is extremely important and a must that this individual have strong selling skills and interpersonal communication skills.
The individual must have a strong working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual must have a high school diploma,
College, Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in sales would be a plus
Technical or industrial sales experience a plus, preferably in hydraulic related markets
Computer strengths are a must
The individual must have a clean driving record.
