Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role (throughout Ohio) for an Ironworker/Construction Apprentice. The Ironworker/Apprentice will be responsible for using power tools, stick welding, working with iron, fall protection, and rigging. Day-to-day tasks include assembling and securing steel structures, erecting and installing structural steel frames, and aligning and welding steel components as well as other duties assigned by the foreman.

Qualifications

Proficient in using power tools, welding, and working with iron (or willing to be trained)

Skilled in fall protection, rigging, and safety procedures on construction sites (or willing to be trained)

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings (or willing to be trained)

Excellent physical condition and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.

Experience in structural steel erecting is a plus but not required as training is available.

High school diploma or equivalent required
