We are a High-End Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling Firm and we are looking for a Project manager
This is a very stable, long term position. One you could retire from.
Responsibilities
Scheduling projects short term and long term.
Scheduling the labor needed and the subcontractors needed for each project
Managing the lead carpenters on 5+ projects
Check measuring the projects, thinking ahead and planning to avoid potential issues
Job planning to make sure daily materials needed are ordered in time to keep the job running smoothly.
Supervising the work of independent contractors, so that their duties are conducted in accordance with company standards.
Going to jobsites and problem solving with other employees and helping on site when needed
Conducting initial research about the job, reviewing the drawings, the Scope of Work, the design elements, and planning the construction materials required for the project
Communicating effectively with clients, designers, and management to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or modifications needed
Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, according to the contract and to the satisfaction of the client
Collecting payments from clients
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of remodeling, non-load and load walls, plumbing, and electrical
Strong leadership skills
Ability to use and interpret schematics, and technical drawings
Excellent verbal communication skills
Creative design skills to think of innovative and unique ways to best handle a given situation
Computer literacy skills, email, word, excel, etc…
Strong project management skills
Strong organizational skills
MUST work well with clients, contractors, and other employees
Strong problem solving skills
Must have your own tools and a dependable truck or van. We offer a truck allowance and fuel card
We do not offer health insurance at this time.
Job Type: Employee position, Full-time
We are based out of Canton, but only work within a 40-50 Mile radius
The position pays 60k plus extras, we can discuss during an interview
